Installed Capacity of Wind Power Exceeds 100GW

By the end of 2005, the national integrated installed capacity of wind power was only 1.06GW. After China implemented the Renewable Energy Law in 2006, the wind power industry was in large-scaled development with the installed capacity in rapid growth. The integrated installed capacity of wind power broke through 10GW in 2009. When it reached 50GW in 2012, China replaced America and became the country with the largest installed capacity of wind power in the world. Now a new milestone has been set up in Chinas wind power history as the integrated installed capacity reached 100GW by the end of February 2015.
